What is CheerBunch?
A private place where a group gathers messages for one person, with messages, photos, short videos, voice notes and PDFs. The organizer reads every message first, then reveals them all at once.
Who pays?
Only the organizer, once per celebration. The people you invite never pay. Small groups can use the free plan.
Do people need an account?
Only the organizer signs in, with Google or a one-time code sent to their email. People writing messages just add their name, and the person it’s for opens a private link. No accounts, no passwords.
How do I invite people?
Open your celebration and use Invite people. Copy the link and share it however you like, for example in a group chat, or send invitations by email from the same place. Anyone with the link can add a message, so share it only with the group.
Can the recipient see anything before the reveal?
No. The recipient sees nothing until you press Reveal. Emails to contributors never mention names or messages, so nothing slips out.
Can I edit my message after sending it?
Yes, until the celebration closes. If you change it after the organizer approved it, the organizer reads it again before it’s shown.
What files can I add?
Photos (big ones are resized for you), videos up to 2 minutes on paid plans or 1 minute on the free plan, voice notes up to 5 minutes, and PDFs up to 20 MB.
My video won’t upload. What can I try?
Check that it’s under the time limit and 100 MB. On a slow connection keep the page open until the progress bar finishes. If it still fails, email us with the time it happened.
How does the organizer check messages?
Every message that’s sent is included unless the organizer hides it. With the “check each message first” switch on, the organizer approves each one before it counts. The organizer can hide a message but can’t change anyone’s words.
How do we show the messages on a TV?
After the reveal, choose Shared screen, pick the messages, and open it in a new tab. Cast or AirPlay that tab to the TV, or use a cable, then press Play all.
How long do celebrations last?
Paid: 45 days to gather messages, then the recipient can open them for a whole year after the reveal and download the keepsake at any time (plus 15 days after that). Free: 14 days to gather and 90 days to enjoy. A celebration that is never revealed closes at the end of the gathering time. After that, everything is deleted.
What is the keepsake?
A download with every revealed message, photo, video and voice note, which works offline in a browser. It comes with paid plans. It’s yours to keep once downloaded.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 14 days of paying. See the refund policy.
How do I delete a celebration?
Open the celebration, choose Settings and scroll to Delete this celebration. It is deleted straight away for everyone: every message, photo, video and voice note, and the person it’s for can no longer open it. Keepsakes already downloaded stay with whoever downloaded them. Deleting doesn’t refund a payment, so if you paid in the last 14 days and want a refund, email support@cheerbunch.com first.
How do I download or delete my data?
Sign in, open the account menu (top right) and choose Your data. You can download a copy of everything we hold about you, or delete your account straight away. You can also email support@cheerbunch.com from the address you sign in with, and we’ll do it for you within 30 days. Messages are also deleted automatically when a celebration ends.
How do I report something?
Inside a celebration, choose Report a problem at the bottom of the page. You can also email support@cheerbunch.com with a link to the celebration and what’s wrong. We look at every report within 24 hours and remove anything that breaks our terms. We don’t tell the organizer who reported.
