Leaving card
A proper leaving card, without passing an envelope round the office
Everyone signs one online leaving card: the people in the office, the ones working from home, and the ones who left last year. Then you reveal it at the leaving drinks.

- No envelope to chase round three floors before Friday.
- Remote and part-time colleagues can join from one link.
- Voice notes and short videos say what a signature can’t.
- Only the person leaving sees it, when you choose to reveal it.
How it works
- Start in a minute. Pick the occasion and add their name. We suggest a title and a few friendly words you can change.
- Share one link. Paste it into Slack, Teams, email or WhatsApp. People sign in with an email code or Google, then add a message, photo, short video or voice note.
- Reveal it together. You check every card first. Then reveal it on their phone, or play it on the big screen at the party or on a video call.
When to start
Send the link about a week before their last day and set the deadline two days before. People always sign at the last minute, so leave yourself time to check the cards.
A few things people write
- It won’t be the same without you. Thank you for every cup of tea and every rescue.
- You made Monday mornings bearable. Good luck with the new job, they’re lucky to have you.
- Thank you for teaching me how things really work round here. I’ll miss our chats.
- Don’t be a stranger. The biscuit tin will be waiting.
